LEVEL 1 OCEAN SESSION (+16 yrs)

Introducing LEVEL 1: a transformative 3-hour session designed to establish foundational skills for confidence in and underwater. Consider this session as Ocean Therapy rather than traditional training.

LEVEL 1 is a breath control program for athletes, focusing on basic freediving safety techniques to enhance comfort and confidence in the water. The session covers underwater efficiency, mental clarity under stress, and remaining calm in intimidating situations.

Participants will learn:

- Performance breathing foundations, methods, and exercises

- Breathing's impact on physical and mental health

- Physiology of breath and assessment (BOLT Score)

- Controlled diaphragm breathing and performance theory

- Breathing positions and benefits of apnea

- Guided exploration breathing

- Hydrodynamics, dealing with gravity in the ocean floor, and underwater adaptation (equalization)

- Ocean Safety and performance guidelines for REVIBE sessions

- Loaded and unloaded shallow water exercises

On-Land Practice:

- Breathing and stretching exercises

- Performance breathing exercises

- Movement and balance warmup

- Recovery breathing exercises

In-Water Practice:

- Proper use of equipment: masks, kettlebells, and lines

- Ocean safety and performance exercises for REVIBE sessions

- Underwater adaptation methods, equalization, hydrodynamics, and recovery 

- Working with gravity on the ocean floor

- Loaded and unloaded shallow water exercises

Requirements:

- 18+ years (16+ with consent)

- Swim 200 meters non-stop without fins, only with dive mask

- Tread water for 5 minutes

- Completed REVIBE Medical Form and Liability Release
