This ON LAND (1) one-hour session is designed to help build the foundational skills for breath control & to increase self confidence in & out of the Ocean. Clients will NOT practice water training unless you are doing a LEVEL 1 SESSION.
PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN:
- Foundations for performance breathing, breathing methods and exercises.
- How breathing can enhance physical and mental health.
- Physiology of Breath.
- Assessment & BOLT Score.
- Controlled Diaphragm breathing.
- Breathing for performance theory.
- Breathing Positions.
- Apnea and its benefits for visualization.
- Guided exploration breathing.
PARTICIPANTS WILL PRACTICE IN LAND
-Breathing exercises
-Stretching exercises
-Breathing for Performance exercises
-Introduction to movement, mobility and balance warmup
-Recovery breathing exercises
IMPORTANT TO ATTEND YOU MUST:
- Be 18 years of age or older (16 years with parent or guardian consent);
- Have completed the REVIBE Waiver ( Liablity release / Medical Form )
